Welcome to our first Vapormatic newsletter. Landlogic are now 14 months into taking on the Vapormatic franchise for the South Island, wow that has gone fast!
We want to say a big thank you to all of our customers that have supported us through the first year and to all of our new customers that have joined the Vapormatic family, it certainly has been humbling to get this level of support.
The first 12 months have seen some big challenges for us mainly around the supply chain to get our parts to NZ, continuing to set up the warehouse and also getting our stock levels up to where we want to have them to support our customers. Added to this we have seen some overwhelming growth in demand of certain products.
To combat these challenges we have worked closely with the Vapormatic team in the UK and DHL to utilise all air & sea freight options to get inventory to our shores. We are now in a position where a large percentage of our stock is flowing through on regular monthly shipments and giving us enough depth of inventory. We will continue to add new products to our inventory each month.
We have been lucky in the investment that Vapormatic UK have put in place over the last 12 months to help with supply chain pressure. The UK inventory levels are at an all time record high in their 73 year history and an additional warehouse facility in Exeter has really helped to keep supply as efficient as possible where many competitors and OEM’s have struggled.
We have had several new staff join the Landlogic team:
- Many of you will have now met Tony Moore our new Sales Representative as he makes his way around each region. Tony comes with years of industry knowledge and experience with the Vapormatic product range.
- In our Warehouse, we have had Will Lamberg join the team to help dispatch orders and get that all important stock put away.
- We have had Nick Kerry join us as Product Support Manager. His primary role is to support our Gason, KMS and Freshfilter brands but will work in with Tony to support customers in the upper South Island regions.
