Founded in 1949, the Vapormatic Company has grown into a global company, marketing one of the largest ranges of replacement tractor parts and accessories in the world and distributing products to a growing customer base in over 90 countries.
This communication aims to clarify how the transition from Vapormatic NZ to Landlogic will work and what that means for our customers. Our primary objective during this transition is to maintain parts supply and business continuity for our customers.
We are pleased to advise that all the current Christchurch based Vapormatic NZ staff are joining the Landlogic team. This ensures that Landlogic will be able to provide you with the same high levels of service that you currently experience and that the familiar voices of Barry, Naomi and Jill will continue to greet you.
The effective start date for Landlogic will be Monday 1st February 2021, and with the new start date comes a new location. We will be relocating from the current Vapormatic NZ premises at 46A Halwyn Drive, Hornby, to the Landlogic premises at 25 John Morten Place, Rolleston.
Our dedicated warehouse facility in Rolleston provides greater opportunity to expand current product lines, and as an MPI approved transitional facility, we have the capacity to bring containers of Vapormatic parts directly from the UK into the South Island for the first time. Due to this being a warehouse facility we will not have a showroom available for public access but will provide a drop box at the gate to cater for customers wanting to collect parts when coming to town.
Landlogic will purchase all current Vapormatic inventory located in the South Island along with stock that has just arrived in the country. We have also placed orders with the UK to secure replacement inventory as soon as possible, and plans are in place to ensure that we minimise disruption to your parts supply while relocating the inventory between locations.
To limit purchasing delays, any South Island customer with a current Vapormatic NZ trade account will automatically be set up with a Landlogic trade account, allowing you to begin purchasing products from 8am on Monday 1st February 2021.
The North Island will transition from Vapormatic NZ to Cervus Equipment on 1st March. Cervus Equipment will provide further details for North Island customers prior to the change-over date.
