Welcome to the next edition of our Vapormatic newsletter.
Autumn has been an interesting period, we have been challenged with several unexpected shipping delays over the last few months resulting in inventory pressure as we see a continued increase in demand for aftermarket parts. However we have been inundated with stock in June with the arrival of 3 long awaited containers. The team have been flat out unpacking these, dispatching backorders and making space for all of the extra stock. We appreciate the patience of everyone who has been waiting on these orders to arrive.
As a result of these shipment delays we pushed back our Winter and latest CabCam promotion until we had stock available. So you will see these arriving in your email the first week of July, running through until 31st August. Check them out and utilise the marketing material in the link to send out to your customers.
Like many other businesses, Vapormatic is being challenged with the general increase in costs ofgoods and services, as a result of multiple global factors related to increasing demand, production shortages, logistics issues and general market inflation.
Our team has worked very hard with suppliers during 2022 to minimise these increases but unfortunately we are no longer able to absorb such increases. Coupled with escalating freight charges and the weakening NZD, we have been forced to adjust our prices for the first time since we took on the franchise in February 2021.
Recognising the potential impact price changes have on your business, we have made every effort to keep price movements to a minimum. We value your business, so this decision has been taken with serious consideration, in order that we can continue to provide you with the high-quality parts and customer service you know and expect. It is our commitment that we will continue to work with our suppliers and supply chain to minimise, and if possible, reduce prices in the future.
Our team is expanding. This month we will be recruiting for an additional Vapormatic Sales Representative to join Tony on the road so that we can increase our level of customer service. We will be looking for a person based in the Rolleston/Ashburton/Christchurch region, within an hour of our warehouse. The role will require travel (4 days per week) and will be responsible for our Northern Region; North Canterbury, West Coast, Tasman and Marlborough.
We will also be announcing a new and exciting product in July that we will be offering to our Vapormatic customers as the Landlogic team continues to grow its range of products. Watch this space!
